COVID-19 Update and Testing
Osteopathic Care is committed to protecting the health and safety of our patients during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
We are currently open to new and established patients and are committed to maintaining rigorous infection control procedures. Part of our process includes having patients wear a mask to appointments. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one at the start of your visit. We are now also offering COIVD testing, see below for details. Thank you for your support and stay safe!
The Philosophy of Osteopathy:
To find health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease.

About Katherine Heineman DO
Dr. Kate Heineman has been an osteopathic practitioner in the Des Moines area since 2013. She chose the specialty of osteopathic manipulation as she felt it was the best form of medicine to potentially get to the root of the problem for any disease or condition. Her goal with any osteopathic treatment is to communicate with and support the natural laws of healing within each patient by using her hands. Beyond pursuing osteopathy, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, personal development, artisan food, travel, quiet moments, and anything outdoors.
